Kiran Kamath is an Indian DJ, music producer, composer, and remix artist who is widely credited with popularizing Bollywood mashups in India. Beginning his career as a DJ in the mid-1990s, he became known for blending Bollywood music with electronic, house, and trance influences, performing across India as well as internationally.
He gained major recognition for creating some of Bollywood's most successful official mashups, including the Aashiqui 2 Mashup, Student of the Year Mashup, Love Mashup series, and Zero Hour Mashup, which is often described as one of India's first mainstream Bollywood mashups.
Over the years, Kamath has worked on more than 100 songs and collaborated with leading composers, music labels, and film production houses. His production credits include hit tracks such as "Jugni" (Cocktail), "Tu Meri" (Bang Bang!), and "Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai" (Sultan).
His achievements include winning the Indian Music Academy Award for Best Remix in 2011 and receiving recognition at the Mirchi Music Awards. In recent years, he has continued producing music for Bollywood projects, including contributions to Housefull 5.
At just 12 years old, Anish Kamath is only beginning his journey in music — but the signs were there already. It was in 2022 that his uncle, DJ and producer Kiran Kamath, noticed something special: a rare, natural tonal quality in Anish's voice that stopped him in his tracks.
Still finding his feet in the industry, Anish brings an unfiltered energy and an instinct for melody that goes well beyond his years. With one of India's most accomplished music producers in his corner — and in his family — this is just the beginning of what looks like a very exciting story.
